M e - refining....

As we refine, we gather together the things that we just love.

The objects that stick with us long after we have touched them,

that feel good when we pass them.

The meal we dream of years after eating it, and the thoughts of a friend who

we have shared good moments.

Refining is not always about taking away.

Sometimes it is revisiting what excites you, what inspires you.

Below is a visual list of what I am cultivating in my life right now.

Does this list change from season to season, yes.

And it should.

Here is today's whimsical list:

WHY Balmoral castle you may ask?

Well, I was delightfully awakened by a sweet friend

who was standing on the grounds and thought of me.

So she called me at O'early O'clock to tell me.

Do you know how that touched my heart?

Knowing how I loved the Queen, that was so sweet.

( Love you Shirl!)

Pecorino cheese.... on everything!

I am a pink ( pale to salmon) and green ( moss to forest) girl 100percent.

But ever since I moved here.... blues have captured my attention .

August reestablishing her place in the flock...safely.

This is amazing... to think how sick she was a few months ago

to now laying again and being strong enough to stand up to my #1 bully girl.

This makes my soul happy.

This. & This & This.

Simple joys are the best.

In a world of over exposure and excess and * too much*

simplicity in all things is everything.

Finely made objects are my jam.

Old & loved the better....

This photo of my granddaughter .

It is ethereal .

It will go on my Gaga & Grampa wall.

She is simply the strongest, deepest child I have ever known.

I am humbled to be called her Gramma.

How I ever received the gifts of any of my grandchildren is beyond my

understanding. Every moment I get with them makes the day better, makes

life better.

Oh yes.

It is moving quite quickly now that I get where I am going.

I hope that you all know that your greatest obstacle is you.

Do the things that bring you joy, jump.

Take the leap.

Move along.

Face all fear with Faith.

May you all have a wonderful Saturday.

xoxo

Raven
