story that you are telling the world and you
are only known for is what you hate rather than
what you love- there is still time to
rectify that.
Time to come clean so to speak and realise that you have
way more control over what may happen to you than you believe.
Stop being a victim , stop making protagonists out of
people who disagree with you or who push your buttons.
People are rarely all good or all bad.
It is up to you to find the good.
If you can not or refuse to, well then that is on you.
Then it becomes a choice that you will have to live with.
Here is a way to stop that way of thinking in its' tracks.
1. Make a list of everything you love.
2. Make a list of what you enjoy doing.
3. Follow those lists. Add then to your life daily.
The more you do this, the more your life will be clearer and in focus.
You will no longer be a slave to the part of society that wishes you to
be a perpetual victim and unhappy.
Quickly, your nervous system will become attuned to telling you
when you are in a situation that is healing or not.
Then your light will grow.
Feed it truth and be discerning with how you share it.
It sounds simple.
Because it is.
Your light will be infectious.
I have said for years that being the light is the most important
thing that you can do in this life.
And as much as I have said that, I have lived it - even through difficult times.
My mistake was allowing others to drain me far past my limit.
When I needed light, I was forgotten by people I shared mine with.
And so, those people showed me they were not meant for the next chapter of my life.
Even here, on this blog... the vitriol I have received
from so called *friends* who suddenly decided that I was
public enemy #1 for not being as miserable as they were was surprising.
These past few years God moved in my life in BIG ways- for sure.
I am happy for it.
My life has such a deep richness to it that I never knew existed.
In the most surprising yet simple places....
I pray that this new month brings you all the sweet peace I have been afforded .
April is a beautiful month.
It is the opening of the outside world, of birdsong mornings
and quiet sunsets.
The earth warms and gifts us with some of the most beautiful flowers.
For me, I am so grateful for it all.

Are you cooking this weekend?
I will be making my traditional Easter dinner of baked ham, honey & butter carrots
with a charcuterie board & sweet simple desserts.
I found theses simple infographics that I will also
put to use.
When you manage the ingredients you can have tasty but healthier
diets.
( fresh bread & honey mustard sauce for sandwiches later)
If you try any of these please let me know, I would love to hear about it!
My memories of Easter week past include my children of course and my
immediate family. Growing up, mommy would bring us to the local shoe store
and I remember picking out either white patten leather shoes or those red Buster Browns.
I would also get a new dress & spring coat as well.
Once Mr. Bunny arrived we would find these eggs.
Gosh I kept them for years & years until they melted !
Funny how continuing those traditions still brings me such joy.
Like this meme I found .... My mother was a fan of the Harvest Gold
coloured Tupperware.
My answers span decades.....
Tang
Kool Aid
Countrytime Lemonade

Some photos from the past few days...
In between spring cleaning & clean up of the property
( and repairs) I visited one of our favorite little towns,
sun bathed with my favorite flock and hung out with one of my
favorite grands...
Life is good.
I am blessed.
No complaints.
Only good things...
rabbit, rabbit. rabbit
indeed.
Bless you all,
Raven
