Chicken Piccata Meatballs for a stormy summer day⛈️

Last evenings sunset.

Good Morning Friends!

We are in store for a rainy & stormy day.

I am okay with that.

I was out early with the flocks...letting them fly( the babies fly) 🐓

Cleaned, fed, gathered what I could from my tomato plants

before the torrential rain is expected.

Walked the property and placed my August wreaths on the barn & house

then came in to make a crock pot full of chicken soup.

Perfect for a rainy day.

Speaking of.... this recipe for Chicken Piccata Meatballs would

also make a warming supper for a rainy day.

In my new section From The Deli  I am sharing this easy

recipe that looks so good!

Full recipe in the link.

So ... my Tiger Lily are just putting on quite the show this Summer!

The plants have doubled in size.

I am always amazed by how we can get such tropical plants to grow in New England.

They make me smile.

If anything wraps up my summer so far it would be this quote.

In all things.

If it is too heavy ask for help or put it down.

I can not force things ever again.

I can not lift more than it is safe for me to handle.

I have been doing so for a long time.

The refinement I spoke of as my word for the year has found its way

into every aspect of my life.

In relationships, in ways I relate to the world and what I choose each day.

Summer is starting to wain.... what will be left behind will be a

much happier me, a less stressful life and a beautiful future.

I do hope you all weather the storm from wherever you are

reading from.

Thanks again for choosing this blog to come to each day.

I appreciate you all so much.

BLESSINGS,

Raven
