Happy Friday! Healthy ways to nourish your life

I have found a unique way to handle the unnecessary stress

that has overwhelmed society.

What a wonderful concept.

Simple.

But wholesome(y) effective.

My Gramma was not Japanese, but she lived her life much like this until

she was very old.

She was also a very healthy person, mind, body & soul.

Focusing upon ones own life, healing what needs to be healed

and THEN putting your energies out into the world

is a much better way to effect any change.

Chaotic energies from a dis-regulated life will only harm.

I have used the outline for Spring a few years now.

It helps to remind me what is important after coming out of my Winter

*hibernation*.

I am so happy to share the two new items that I recently found in clearance.

My new teapot!

and

These swan towels.

I feel silly saying so, but they really make me smile and add

a cheerful touch to the house. It always feels so barren after the decor is taken down.

Funny how such small things can lift your spirits.

And swans have been a big thing in my life recently.

In my dreams too...

There was a certain part of me that also loved these lamps too.

I know, they are a tad much for a simple country home in New England

but they are so adorable.

I did pass on them.

The deer have been making their way through the property looking for food and water.

They come down to our back pond and to my compost piles at night.

Sometimes I peep them when I am up and they are just so beautiful and graceful.

This also means that it is time for them to settle in our forest for the year.

The songbirds come next, the ducks, the swallows and the turkeys...

Lucy never left this year, choosing to stay with her family, though

the flock will more than likely return soon.

The quiet before the busyness of Spring....

Take a break.

Fast from the worlds woes.

It will still be there when you are ready to check back in.

Even for a few hours a day....

The light bringers must fill our own cups.

Have a blessed Friday!

xoxo
