October is not over yet!

Yesterday I got a burst of energy that was astounding.

Really.

It was also the first day since the beginning of August that I had

reduced knee pain.

So instead of taking it easy I did what I do...

I cleaned the patio & storage room.

Threw away so much junk...broken pots etc...

It was wonderful!

I know, I am a bit strange that way.

I love getting work accomplished.

The Mr & I then did errands, visited a local eatery for an early supper

and came home to do more chores around the property.

A HOT bath and cozy P.J.'s was my evening goodie!

I fell asleep instantly then awoke again about 11 to see this still on my leg.

LOL!

I was exhausted!

I have to say, sleeping well is rarely an issue for me.

Perhaps because I get 20 minutes of sunlight every day.

I saw this and had to laugh...

It is truth.

As soon as it gets dark my internal clock is like....

nope.

But this year I am making an effort to try and stay up until at least 9.

Let's see what else I can celebrate/ accomplish in this month....

Well, well, I seem to be ahead of this list which makes me happy.

{ you all know how much I love my lists}

Now in my defence, my work will be starting up again on the train.

Which means that I have to get things squared away asap.

I washed the coats, hats, mittens and gloves.

This year was a new coat year. I have to say that I wear my coats out fast, same for

mittens and gloves. I looked to see what I liked on the Free People site

and then went on over to Amazon for their dupes.

You can actually the in Free People Dupes and a bunch of things will pop up.

This is what I purchased in August.

It was almost 20$ less back then, which is why I buy during the hottest part of the summer.

This is the vest style which I also got during August.

At 198$ I think I saved some serious $$$ and mine are lined with

fluff as well. I love the huge pockets too.

This was also the first year I purchased matching sweater/ pants for kicking around the house.

They are so soft, cashmere like.

Mine are from Target and I highly recommend them.

It gives me comfy feeling with a * I tried* look, especially if I have an

unexpected visitor or delivery.

I have been on an absolute cleaning/ de-cluttering binge.

It feels so good.

I am in nesting mode for sure.

How about you all?

Are you gathering and/or nesting yet?

I am eager to find out so I do not feel so weird and lonely in my weirdness.

Nothing feels like it.

Well, maybe a fresh new planner!

:)

I was just on the phone with a friend discussing life,

discussing how I still get quite excited for the season and

whatever may come next. How the Mr. & I plan in the evenings and place our dreams

into one another like when we were 20.

I still feel like every day is such a wonderful reason to be alive and

squeeze whatever you can out of.

Dreaming, planning, clearing out & gathering.....

That is where I am lately.

xoxo
