Spiritual darkness.
Woah, big topic yet timely.
Yes, there are many who say they are *good people*.
But their words & actions bely them.
I am reminded of how intolerance
led to the lot of us being told how to think, how
to manage our lives and live freely.
How we were shunned and canceled.
That kind of darkness is born of a desire to control.
Spiritual darkness grows a narrative of lies and mistruths.
It has no conscience .
It desires only to micromanage every free thought & action.
To squelch the spirit of the light & good.
The peace we all seek is not found in watching troubled hearts
stirring up strife, casting stones at others for being who they are.
It is found in the gentle strength of knowing that
we are all deserving of respect and kindness.
We are all worthy.
No opinion is better than, it just is.
And living in the uncomfortable space without having to
change others is a rare gift.
It is the sign of a mature, healed and emotionally evolved soul.
Grace given.
Life has changed.
It has changed for us all.
But we do not have to allow the negative or spiritually depleted to
wreak havoc, here's how:
🌿
1. Stay in Grace
You - yourself, stay wonderfully grounded in the light.
Lean into your light bringing friends to
support you when you are having a hard day.
2. Stay in Truth
truth is truth and using it to counter ignorance disguised as
* information* is the best way to counter any argument
with someone bent upon shoving their narrative down your throat.
Know your truth and calmly stand it it.
Know that you are not alone
You are quite literally the majority- Did you know that?
The majority does not need to shout to be heard.
Their life choices reflect their character every day.
3. Stay in Mercy
Ah, perhaps the hardest part is to
forgive their ignorance and the hurt
they cause every day.
But we were given an example.
With Good Friday coming up I am reminded of this.
Know this.
The spiritually depleted need us to do one thing only...
Pray for them.
Again, I know this can be a challenge.
But surrounding them are good people affected by their
clouded judgements. The families of people who
do not know the light are the ones suffering the most.
I pray for them and for the light to shine onto their families.
This week of introspection is one that I have always taken to heart.
I ask myself, * how can I grow to become a stronger spirit?*
The answers come as I work my way through the day.
As I am aware that everything good comes from the one light bigger than I am.
It desires to heal, to move Truth, Grace and Mercy into everyone's lives.
Thank you for stopping by today.
I am so mindful of how you all have choices to visit any page out there.
May you have a peace filled, cozy day.
( it is getting chillier and wetter here by the minute)
xoxo
Raven
