June 1st 2025
Good Morning.
rabbit. rabbit. rabbit
Today I regain the last piece of me.
It is a wonderful day to start.
Start what?
Well that is a long story but I will sum it up
by saying.... yes.
Yes is a very powerful word.
Instead of explaining oneself, just saying yes will always suffice .
Will you be starting today as well?
After Sunday prayer time I walked out to the patio
in my bare feet, grounding myself as I do most mornings,
looking at that beautiful sunrise I thought to myself:
* Today is a great day to start *
Whatever you may be starting... I will be sending you loads
of support and good wishes. Part of starting something is continuing...
especially when life gets difficult and stressy.
So I used these past few months to address my stress.
Sometimes you can not avoid situations where you have no idea what
is happening & you have no control.
Like the power surge that took out our water heater / furnace.
Or the bear who ransacked our honey bee boxes...
But if your stress level is low to begin with, you will have a better
attitude to address whatever comes your way.
Get rid of the low grade simmering stress.
The things in your life which keep you constantly
burning when you need to rest.
The moments you play in your head over & over.
The little things which drive you nuts...like clutter or
holding onto things long after they are useful or needed.
And I am talking everything.
Embrace a quiet, calm, life even if it is just moments in your hectic day...
Once you calm your nervous system, you will have greater
control of everything in your life .
You will also be able to grow and flourish in ways you have never dreamed of.
I am always happy when I see justice happen and people win who
deserve it. She deserves to own her works more than anyone I know.
Good for her.
The next 3 months will be a season of growth, change and peace .
I will be starting our Slow Summer series ... & I can not wait!
My advice today?
Embrace every good thing that is in front of you today.
Let go.
Let go of parts of the stress you can not change.
Focus on what you actually can.
We have been lied to,
told that what we accomplish on the daily in our homes is not enough.
We must say more, do more...fight...blah, blah, blah....
You miss out on people who are right there...
You miss out on holy moments you may never get back
by being focused upon things that you can not change.
Stop listening to others and listen to your own heart, your
own mind. We were never meant to be obedient robots who
regurgitate narratives.
Strip away the layers of *you shoulds*.
Identify emotional bullies.
We were meant to live lives that know peace.
It may just be time to address the big elephant in your rooms...
Eliminate the manufactured stress created to confuse you, anger
you and make you feel crappy.
You do not need to be hardened to be strong.
Then.
Then you will know peace and growth and joy.
My prayers that all of you share this message today and begin
with me.
xoxo
Raven
