Welcome back.
Welcome to this rendition of Theherbshedatstonehollow.
I am grateful for your time spent here.
I first was aware of people tearing one another down
as some sort of personal mental health issue back when I was
sent an email on being *toxically positive*.
At the time I had no idea what it was or that it was a recently made
up construct of bullying behaviour by miserable people towards happy folks.
I now know better.
At the time it changed me and how I interacted with you, my readers.
Then came the emails about my mentions of God and prayer.
Then the nasty texts and emails about every other thing - as you can imagine.
I was hurt, then sad then defensive.
I thought about stopping this blog all together because
it started to creep into my private life.
I finally took some time to really ponder what to do.
💭
I am here to say that I will continue to blog.
I will be me, which is positive, sometimes snarky,
with maybe a tip or two on how I have lived a
mostly organic, clean & holistic life on my historic
property by the river in a forest in New England.
If you want to find a positive place to land every day,
this is the place for you.
Welcome.
I adore living in New England, being born and bred here.
I have lived at the coast for most of my life until moving to
this property in the cool northeastern corner of my state.
I was born near the salt water but now I have a waterfall and
pond to splash in. I never thought I would have chickens
yet here I am 10 years later... with a flock of babies I love to death.
We live holistic and clean most of the time, as good health
is our ticket to a long happy life with our family.
If you enjoy thrifting, vintage markets and historical themed
places and things... you are home here.
If you believe that a positive mindset is also a healing one,
welcome.
If you want a small light filled place to hang out while having a cup
of tea, this is your place.
Welcome to Thehherbshedatstonehollow.
One word.
Just like that.
