Do not let this world corrupt you. Truth.

Good Morning.

If I could tell anyone one thing about living in this world today

it would be this.

We wake up every day with the ability to make it what we can.

I pray, I go about caring for my family & my pets & the flocks

with only that one thought.

THAT is the very best thing I can do to start my day.

No social media, no news....

Maybe the weather report but that is it.

I will then, after my morning chores peek in on society

and the world.

Now, because I have heard this before....

No I do not believe in toxic positivity or what ever the buzz term is

that miserable people make up for being jealous of those who

can take whatever is cast in front of them and try to make the

best of it.

THAT kind of thinking is what has fractured our communities, friendships

and families.

So, no.... I refuse to believe at least in my experience that having

a positive attitude is a bad thing.

I don't know if you have noticed but misery does love company.

We have a choice to either gather stones in life or gather flowers.

The stones will weigh us down, cause ill health and eventually

box us into a sad existence .

I choose to gather flowers of love, hope, faith, kindness and truth.

Stones of division, apathy, hopelessness, ugliness I refuse to carry.

I choose to create a life that does not exclude recognising difficult things,

no, I choose after being dragged through it, to stand up tall and hold boundaries.

For years & years I have written about how it is so

important to refuse to be corrupted with whatever the popular narrative is.

Popular is not always truth.

But the world wants you to be as miserable as they are.

Resist that.

Nothing wrong with finding your people and nestling into

a quiet life that actually brings you joy.

I honestly have found that the people most judging you are

those who want to be closest to you.

They are rooting for you to fail, to fall, to

become as miserable as they are.

Just hold your heads up and refuse that energy.

Moving into Monday and my start of my 3 month *glow up*,

I am so hopeful that by bringing you all along with me you may be inspired to

create the life you have wished but was told you were selfish or

awful or terrible or whatever for wanting it.

People who genuinely love you will root for you.

I will root for you.

ALL those years ago when I said, *be the light* I meant this.

I meant to radiate your goodness despite whatever you may encounter.

We all hold such wonderful warmth and joy and kindness.

DO NOT LET THIS WORLD CORRUPT THAT.

You are so special and original and talented and worthy.

Thiis week ahead I am planning a little something for St. Patti's Day.

It will be fun and adorable and involve small leprechauns .

I am also not ignorant or world events.

I will be praying for our troops and our President, that he

make the best choices for us as a nation .

I will be visiting farm friends with my babies & viking....catching up after

a difficult winter.

The weather is supposed to be stormy at times and windy....

Oh the winds of March!

Not so out of the ordinary.

No recipes to share but a reminder that crispy bread topped with fresh veggies

and your protein of choice ( mine has been freshly grated pam cheese)

will fill your belly and heart.

Just something about a hearty sandwich on a Saturday that is just so perfect!

( do not forget the chips and pickle!)

Off to tend the flocks.

Please keep August in your prayers.

The strengthening light triggered her to try and lay an egg, the first

time since she had her prolapse.

( remember she used to lay duck sized eggs)

I kind of knew that if she started to lay she may end up

in trouble again... and here we are.

She laid a lash egg yesterday which is not a good sign.

Please pray as I try and heal her up.

I am grateful to have an online vet to help as well.

Thank you.

Have a lovely weekend friends.

I will see you Monday!

xoxo
