💚
Hello.
I am posting this, this evening, Saturday the 3rd of January.
For whatever reason, Google/Blogger will not let me upload photos.
Thus, writing posts can not happen.
I am trying to work it out.
So, just in case please know that my email is;
paklausen@snet.net
or you can visit the Facebook page for this blog here:
https://www.facebook.com/theherbshedatstonehollow/
Please email me your email so I can notify you if I have to make a new
blog on another site. Or I may just post it here before I delete this blog.
I am so sorry.
Over 15 years and I lost lots of photos a few years ago and now this.
In the meantime... please enjoy this post that I wrote a few days ago.
It kind of is a bit foreshadow(y).....
I will make the best of this .
Life is good.
God is good.
Love you guys,
Raven

Can I please talk about the beauty of old books?
I have always collected them and am now realising how very valuable they can be.
I am talking about non-fiction.
( though I do love an old children's book)
These offer us untouched truths into so many aspects of life we can take control of
and actually do ourselves.
Cooking , farming, sewing, anything hands on... such a trove of
useful information that you do not need a screen or power to view.
I love local history books and of course health books.
Since I have been born, most books ( including ones used to teach)
have been altered by big pharmaceutical and chemical companies.
Billionaires who gave their $$$ to institutions so that they would
offer students their slant on historical facts and even skewed medical
data to support their use of petroleum products.
Before all of that....real data, real information was written in
books and left on shelves to rot.
Now, I do what I can ( and have been for years) to find books that
actually hold truths.
If you wish to start, look no further than your parents bookshelves.
Then try library sales, tag and rummage sales and finally...
antique shops. I guarantee you, the information you find will change your
ideas on so many things!
It may even change your view on politics and health-
the two places where the internet has chosen to divide us as a nation.
Do I believe that newer books are less valuable...yes, some.
I think that the intent of who, what, when, why and to a lesser extent, how a book is
created has more to do than the actual content of the book itself.
If you see the motivation and that motivation is only for
$$$$ or to promote a lie or a view that is harmful well
then I would say that book means less than any other.
I want facts.
Old facts are still facts.
They are less inclined to be tainted.
So if you get the chance...scoop up as many as you can.
And really read them.
Study what they have to say...
Your life may never be the same.
xoxo
