Hi Friends!
It is late morning and I just sat down to write.
It has been busy with chicken chores plus we had a propane delivery
as well as maintenance to our generator.
I am cold to the bone!
( the gas guy is from our old town so I get the scoop
from him when he comes up here )
Today is New Years Eve.
As usual, we will celebrate on the patio wishing the flocks, pups and
Lucy & her friends & family a wonderful New Year after
a delicious supper.
End it with being cuddled up with our dogs and watching the ball drop.....maybe, if I
can stay up that long!
THIS.
Oh I am not just saying goodbye to this past year ( though it was a fine one).
I myself, am saying goodbye to the past 5 years.
All of it was one long lesson that I have learned everything I needed to
to get me here- here where my happiness is not a goal but lived every day.
Happily I am joined by many people, some old friends, some new who
feel this way as well.
There are so many reasons, but for now I am just going to
say so long!
Let us talk of the fresh , clean new year with 365 bright beautiful days
ahead of us to fill in with every joy we can find.
Oh & I want to talk to you about the Pantone color of the year for 2026.
Now, many people feel that this is white, which of course is the absence of all color.
Not me.
It is warm but neutral and the perfect replacement for the stark white trend in the home.
It is all season, all decor styles and classy as heck.
It may be white, but it is just so much more.
I love it.
It is creamy and rich and the perfect Winter white.
I will be painting at least one room this color this year for sure!
So here we are at the end of one year, dangling our feet into the next.
I am grateful to everyone who is in my life now.
Thank you.
If I had to give any advice it would be this:
Bless you all!
Have a great day and I will see you next year!
xoxo
Raven
