What if?
What if you could be wrong about some things...
Do you ever re-visit that thought?
Hummmm...
Deep Wednesday thoughts but yeah...
**************
The feel of Autumn is certainly in the air this week.
I have been up to my eyeballs in other stuff but today
I will be tackling the pantry.
Ugh, dreaded pantry.
Rotating and checking OOD labels.
It is not one of my favorite things to do.
However, it must get done, as does a week of backlogged chores.
But I am invigorated by this weather, so there is that.
********
Perhaps living in the woods has made me a bit more feral.
A bit more intone with Mother Nature and the small signals that
the hard days are ahead.
I am changing up the menu.
Adding in favorites that I forgot I loved.
Like this one.
I admit it... I cheat and buy the GF chicken cutlets then make the sauce
( with more chicken broth & 1t ACV as a substitute for the wine)
Then make a pot of rice and add my herbs to that.
A seasonal veggie like squash and you have a warm, delicious meal.
OR
You could reduce the sauce by 3/4 and serve on crusty bread with shredded
gruyere cheese on top!
It is coming friends....
but we still have time to embrace the last weeks of summertime, that perfect angle of the sun
and the warm earth. Life has been....interesting to say the least .
I remember praying a list of goals for this summer.
I started back in March making that list .
So here we are September 10th and I can check off the big things
and for that I am grateful.
If any of you asked me for certain prayer, if you would not
mind updating me I would greatly appreciate that.
The ebb and flow of the seasons, especially come Autumn can be the perfect time to
apply the same to your life.
By accepting the season of life you are in, fully embracing it after you have
let everything that you could not change go.... the healing comes.
The healing comes.
Enjoy your day friends.
Get some sunshine in your eyes and if possible,
touch the earth with your bare feet.
Lift your hearts in gratitude.
Life is a blessing.
xoxo
