Monday - last one of July 2025

hello.

Monday again, a fresh new week.

How was all of your weekends.

Ours was kind of quiet.

Productive but quiet.

I am still healing the old knee twisting injury.

Last weeks' overdoing it is dragging on this healing.

But I am able to ice it and do my old rehab from 3 years ago

and remember that healing takes time.

So I again went through stuff that I thought I would keep

*forever*.

It is a bit stressful getting out of old habits that tell you to

keep items *just in case*.....

Old pay off certificates of loans, past home tax bills,

grown children's college bill stuff...

I even found my CNA certificate and pin as well

as my Girl Scout pin.

It was time....

The pins I will keep for myself, they take up nearly

no room. Papers just cause dust mites which I am highly allergic to.

In the end... it is just stuff and the more I de-clutter the better I feel.

I have been tending the gardens....so much to do to avoid overgrowth

in the existing beds. I can just stay in one area for a bit and weed.

However,

The chicken/ bee gardens are delightful!

Wild and harbouring so many bee species.

The snow peas have been my chickens joy while the

cucumbers are growing in both boxes.

That was the goal: happy bees & chickens.

The babies will be experiencing the outdoors this week.

I will let them into the fenced in garden attached to their coop.

Great for them but I must watch them as we have a fisher cat

in the area. My poor bunny population has been affected.

It is that time of the summer where the animals have

had their babies and are now moving through.

This week, it will be hot & humid then cool and breezy...

So when it is hot I am more inclined to want something light.

No stove, no grill....

I ran across this recipe and thought I would share it.

Back in the day... I loved a good deviled ham sandwich.

Goodness knows what was in that can...

but now I know what to do with the leftovers of

Sunday ham supper.

Perfect for a hot day weekly supper out on the patio.

I will also make some deviled eggs for the side salad.

My summer  spin on Ham & Eggs!

I have been enjoying the 2026 fashion shows...this dress from spring 2026...

It has been inspiring me to get back into designing and sewing again.

Also:

Have you tried the new AI things ( programs?) ...

I asked one to create a plan for my keto / sun / light weights: walk

days and this is what it generated.

LOL!

Salmon, eggs, chicken, spinach & broccoli.

I guess I must have overwhelmed it or perhaps was not

specific enough?

I need an AI program to teach me AI I guess!

LOL.

But the graphics were on point: New England summertime.

Let's just call it Theherbshedatstonehollow's diet plan 1.0

if anyone is interested in using it.

๐Ÿ˜…

also, if anyone has tips for me for using AI correctly,

 I will gladly appreciate them.

Time to hobble outside to pick blackberries and clean out the pumpkin patch.

AKA: the babies coop.

Have a wonderful start to your day friends .

Much love,

Raven

xoxo
