S u n d a y .
Yesterday we caught up with family & friends to celebrate Cole turning 4.
His actual birthday is Halloween .
We gathered to celebrate how amazing this little man is,
his kind spirit and hearty laughter.
I have never met a child just as loved by adults as children.
He is a wise soul.
I can not believe 4 years have passed.
It seems like he has been here forever.
The best part was having all of the grands together.
I adore that.
I have been thinking a lot lately of why stress and anxiety
underscore our lives even when we are seemingly ok.
The trends of the past years have drawn us into the opposite
of these ideals.
The move away from wholesome.
To push barriers in an inane cosplay to just see how far we
can drift from sanity....
In the coming month ( November) I will of course produce seasonal content that
you all love but I will also be exploring this idea.
How did we get so far away from the goodness and gentleness of mankind
and what now can we do after opening Pandoras Box.
When the narrative could no longer be supported, friends
turned on friend, family's were broken....
Deteriorating morals led to justifying bad behaviours .
I was told that the old ways were gone, just accept it as it is.
Ha!
No-one tells me what to think or what to do.
That was the line that made me want to kindly address this issue.
Where do we go from here?
Do we still applaud broken communities?
Do we sit back and retreat into our own small communities
of like minded people?
As we enter the season of Goodwill and Good tidings,
I want to explore how we got here and how we can heal.
In a very simple way.
In a way that may reach out and let people know that the light bringers
have been waiting for this time to step in.
I have always been guided by the light of truth and I will always
honour that truth.
Thank you all for being here.
Your truth may be different than mine, still....
if you believe that good will always win out then you are in the right place.
Besides, most folks on the wrong path already know they are.
They may justify it, make excuses for it but their issue is with themselves
and their awful choices, not other people.
As I passed by our waterfall yesterday morning I swear I saw
God in that beautiful sunrise.
It has always been the light and the light will bring us all together again.
Just a reminder to those wishing to exchange cards....
let me know asap as I get them out early.
Also, thank you for the Halloween cards and Fall cards.
I love getting them in my mailbox.
It is like a friendly reminder of your friendship.
Thank you for the emails too!
I just love catching up with your lives and if I have
not heard from you in a bit, know that I do worry.
But I also pray for you.
Prayer changes everything .
Our beekeeper came to winter over the hives and brought us some of our honey.
What a beautiful color!
My winter's tea will be especially yummy.
I do believe that these past few gorgeous days have been a blessing but the
tides about to turn. As it does.....
Start your winter proofing asap.... get some extra supplies for the upcoming stormy season.
Then when it is blustery and wet you can nestle into your warm & cozy nests.
Bless you all!
xoxo
