Glimmers & an early Fall cake for the weekend

Friday Focus :

Obvious health truths and * glimmers*

Sunlight is the greatest disinfectant

That is what I was told by my grandmothers and by

some of the older nurses that I worked with.

Fresh air relieves headaches and stress.

Leaving your phone behind eases anxiety.

Eating fresh foods feeds a robust immune system.

Using critical thinking in adults and children

opens up new neuron pathways in the brain.

Heath is not a pill.

Health is the continues state of homeostasis.

It is movement without pain.

It is removing what causes illness, like smoking & Rx,

awful food choices on the daily and stress.

Most of the best health advice is free and is freedom.

It costs nothing to remove things that cause you to be unhealthy.

It is a choice that you can make every day.

As we prune and grow throughout our lives it is our

duty to ourselves to prioritise the choices we make and

take responsibility to educate ourselves about

what is best for us.

The basics have been truth for forever.

Clean air, water, soil for fresh veggies & fruits.

Local meats & dairy producers.

Remove any refinements, any GMO anything that God did

not intended for it to be there.

Sleep...deep sleep.

Move.

Not crazy elliptical for 1 hour but measured exercises

that grow your muscles, provide strength and fluidity of movement.

Laugh with family, friends and pets.

There is lots of talk of health all over the socials and in the news this week.

I urge you to be discerning and put your bias aside.

Some of the information is quite rare as we have never seen this kind of

transparency in my lifetime.

Live your life my friends, making as many happy memories as you can,

It is not always those huge moments that cause us to stop and appreciate

our blessings but the small ones that creep into our days.

Glimmers are lovely moments that you notice during your every day.

Many people have posted theirs and I can not help but believe

how special those posts are.

I love them.

Here are some of my favorite moments from my week...

School

Fishing

Gardening

new nail art

movie nights started

( 13th warrior & air popped citrus corn with cider freeze)

Morning fog & evening rainbows

new flock doing so well

If you look... I bet that you could find hundreds of

these treasured moments that fill your beautiful life.

Enjoy the weekend ahead.

Queen Bee will be making her first large event

appearance in 5 years.

Wish me luck!

My new t-shirt says it all......

So let us talk pre-fall yummies.

I love this recipe because it just makes sense for this time of the year.

I can always add pineapple, coconut or orange to brighten it up
and make it seem more summery too.

Please let me know if I can add your special prayers to my morning list

for the week ahead.

Much love,

Raven

xoxo
