Happy Monday a bit of a potpourri!

It is a time to clean.

I have been decluttering like crazy... more than I have

in years.

I am not the only one either.

Friends have been cleaning , decluttering, changing cars,

moving on from relationships,

getting extensions...tackling that junk drawer.

It is madness out there right now.

I hear that there is a seismic shift in the whoo whoo happening...

 perhaps....... I don't know.

I do know that I feel it big time , whatever it is.

For me, I am ready to just move on.

No announcements , no FB proclamation needed.

After cleaning out the fridge and pantry of all the sugar & salty treats.

Yes, I did that.

It is time to move on and replace our meals with healthy but tasty

nourishing ones.

I am over the snaking in Winter season.

I am all about anything with peas or that is citrus.

In fact tonights meal is a modified shepherds pie

with a lemony twist!

( replace the meat with lemon chicken instead)

Springish meal inspirations:

Lentils & Rice

Easy cabbage rolls in the crockpot

Artichokes

Green beans and steak over Spanish rice

Sandwiches... of any kind with soup

The switch over to grilling season is a

super one to use up what you have in the fridge

making that last pot of soup.

I never got to share with you all my beautiful & thoughtful

gift from my friend/ follower Charlene!

My word of the year is Grace.

And I adore the addition of the word Grit as well.

I feel like that is a better way to look at it a year already

proving out to be spicy.

Thank you so much Charlene! You are a doll!

Why all the bee photos Raven?

Well, why not?

They are beautiful aren't they?

( I do believe they may be from the National Geographic mag or some such)

They remind me that I am doing all that I can to

keep busy but also setting priorities for my life.

I watch them, even in the first hours of the first 50 degree day

they are out looking for nourishment. They actually come after

the chicken feed as mine has a bit of molasses in it.

Groggy from their winter slumber they look to refuel,

never knowing what has been happening outside of the hive.

I love their sleepy buzz flying low to the ground in the sunshine.

Reminds me of myself in March.

I only read the fashions in real time come Oscars.

I really can not stand the back patting and the politics of the show.

But the gowns...yes please!

Both of these, my favorites were worn by Arianna Grande.

My goodness, just perfection, classy and gorgeous to create.

I mean those shoes!!!

If I can dispense any wisdom for this week...

Wisdom that I learned myself through experience and

through people wiser than I, it would be this above.

Plant your feet in your truth and graciously refuse to be moved.

Protect the peace in you, your homes & your family.

May your Monday be fresh and filled with nourishment

for your whole week.

In the spirit of fun I wanted to share these recipes.

Not healthy...but if they were GF and put in front of me,

I would eat them!

( I had a few Kmart ones in my day! )

LOL!

Blessings my friends!

xoxo

Raven
